Rad Coffee is an independent coffee company established in 2015 by the husband and wife team, Rusty and Jade Valore. Notable guests range from American Horror Story’s Angelica Ross to music trailblazer Tinashe. They aim to make the genre accessible to all, especially women, People of Color, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities. Horror in Color is a growing platform painting the Horror genre with colors of intersectional diversity, inclusion and equity. “As an LGBTQIA-owned platform, teaming up with Rad Coffee for LGBTQIA+ mental health is the real heart of our event,” shared Horror in Color Co-Founder Ivan Daniel Luna. Known for providing free, LGBTQIA+ affirming counseling services, Colors Youth is making a positive impact on local LA communities. The popular SoCal coffee chain will be offering a limited-time lemonade, with sales benefitting a local LGBTQIA+ resource for mental health. All of this is happening at Rad Coffee’s newest location in the heart of Long Beach (3502 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA.) Rounding out the night is a special appearance from Drag performer Charles Galin.

From 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm, guests will enjoy a wonderfully creepy atmosphere that will come to life with interactive performers from Lights Out Creative. Next Saturday, July 9th, their 2nd Annual Pride or Die event will bring a diverse mini-marketplace of Horror vendors that range from apparel to hand-painted art pieces. Courtesy Horror in Color Horror in Color is bringing back their celebration of intersectional identity to a new venue just in time to coincide with Long Beach Pride.
